In a new development, RTÉ will also transmit the All Ireland finals on DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale – AM digital radio) to most of Europe. For shortwave frequencies simply text the word “shortwave” to 51101 and you will receive a short text message with the shortwave frequencies for that will bring RTÉ’s coverage of the games on shortwave to those in Africa. DRM frequencies used for the hurling were 1300-1400 9795 kHz & 1400-1700 9770 kHz [reports] the big game is on this Sunday afternoon. if you cant txt 51101 then the freqs are East Central Southern Africa 21720Khz West Central 17745Khz East Central 15115Khz all between 13:00 & 17:00 irish time.
