This is the post box at Rosslare Harbour Wexford Republic of Ireland. It is a Edwardian (King Edward VII) painted green.
The irony is that these very post boxes were being painted gold for gold medal winners in the UK from the 2012 Olympics. But not if the Olympian was from Northern Ireland and was performing for Team Ireland. Red / Gold / Green what does it matter? same old iron same old Irish irony.
