Maker of Farmville says ‘Zynga is a platform for play’ – as is painted concrete. I do think it important for companies to see the wood for the trees (the big picture). The internet is not just a system to provide eye balls for advertisements it is much more than that, and companies that have the eyes, minds, fingers & loyalty have much more to gain than old media who have/had our eyes. ‘its in the game’ versus ‘we are platform’ is a welcome shift in mentality.
