Lots of jobs being listed in Irish IT over the past month, the list below from SiliconRepublic.com Careers section. But totalled they do not meet half the 4000 jobs losses rumoured this morning by Silicon Republic in story titled Up to 4,000 jobs to be cut across Eircom, banks – reportsBy the way the two job announcements in orange are the same announcement (double counting) 2 weeks apart. I take no pleasure in seeing people lose their well paid jobs to be replaced by less jobs by quantity and less pay by the salary scales of the jobs mentioned. What the media and tech media must not do is talk up the recovery that we are having beyond the truth that it is a jobless recovery, that would be dangerous for the economy of the society people live in.
