Temperature in Dublin dipped to -2 degrees Celsius at Dublin Airport over night. On this day two years ago give or take a leap year, on
29/02/2004 temperatures dipped to -6°C over night (about 4am) so in the 3-4 years Ive been recording Dublin temperature, the worst its been is only 4° worse than this morning. So 3 years doesn’t make climate more like ten times that, but still that is a very mild variation and high minimum temperate compared to our east north/eastern european cousins. I just got a basin from the back garden for a sick child and I had to crack out solid ice.. with low pressure from the west coming and low pressure from the north, with winds from the north west the next few days should be fun.
