Going Postal in Dublin 13

Published Categorized as Uncategorized

Postal service in D13 has hit all time lows, its as if the service is being beaten into the ground. Today a letter arrived (after 5pm) that was posted 9 days ago. The letter was posted from the Dublin 13 area to the Dublin 13 area. TDs in the Dail have been complaining about the lack of service where Doctors are getting one postal delivery a week.

A national postal service is very important to the running of a country. Forget business for a moment (then can get a courier to bike it) but the state documents and hospital appointments and an bord pleanala decisions and such like are all turning up late. The kids dental check up the childrens allowance correspondence the pension cheque. Late Late & no show!

Management may see the running down of the service being a good tactic of getting joe public off side with postman pat ahead of a national postal strike, but if there are staff shortages, get some of the 1000s of girls and boys on school holidays a holiday job that includes exercise and open air activity with a hint of community interaction.

Is anyone running this country? Oh yes it’s, Mr. Market Forces, doing a super job again. BTW the Postal Service was better when Comreg werent involved.
