But please observe,<br \/>\nWhat they enjoy from birth<br \/>\nIs all we ever had the nerve<br \/>\nTo ask, that is, the earth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fst\">The \u201clabour fakir?? full of guile,<br \/>\nBase doctrine ever preaches,<br \/>\nAnd whilst he bleeds the rank and file<br \/>\nTame moderation teaches.<br \/>\nYet, in despite, we\u2019ll see the day<br \/>\nWhen, with sword in its girth,<br \/>\nLabour shall march in war array<br \/>\nTo realize its own, the earth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"fst\">For labour long, with sighs and tears,<br \/>\nTo its oppressors knelt.<br \/>\nBut never yet, to aught save fears,<br \/>\nDid the heart of tyrant melt.<br \/>\nWe need not kneel, our cause no dearth<br \/>\nOf loyal soldiers\u2019 needs<br \/>\nAnd our victorious rallying cry<br \/>\nShall be we want the earth!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our demands most moderate are \u2013 We only want the earth!
